Respirit Run Co was born out of the need for women to feel ok with putting themselves first. To remind women that connection and community are essential to our happiness and allows us to be our best selves. As women, we’ve been taught that self-care is selfish but at Respirit Run Co, we give you permission to put yourself first and leave the guilt behind. Because when you are well, those around you are too.

Hi, I’m Brooke, owner and founder Respirit Run Co and lover of running. I founded my biz is 2019, after the birth of my second child. I was looking for a way to connect with likeminded women through running.

I have always been open about my struggles with both anxiety and depression and wanted to share with others how much running, yoga, mindfulness, meditation, and gratitude have all played a key role in my recovery. Combining both my passion for running and advocating for mental health, Respirit Run Co was born!

I am all about improving women’s mental health and helping them create a life full of happiness and connection (and also coaxing as many women into running as possible!).

The retreat appealed to me as it encompassed self-love, exercise and new people. After spending the weekend with an amazing group of strong women, it didn’t disappoint. ...I knew that perhaps the running side would be a challenge, however Brooke was so supportive, and it was achievable. The point was to get outside my comfort zone & kickstart getting into shape. A few months on & I have been more active than I ever have in recent years. I can walk an easy 4-6kms a day, I've been doing Pilates & boot camp regularly. I'm making an effort to exercise more & my mental health has improved because of this. I'd highly recommend Respirit Retreats. Brooke has an incredible passion & story behind why she does what she does.
