If you’re hoping to get back into running after a long break or maybe you’ve always loved the idea of running but have never been able to “get into it” the retreats are the perfect way to get over that mental hurdle.

Our retreats are based on principles of positive psychology, using running, yoga, and mindfulness sessions to connect likeminded women and leave you feeling refreshed, supported, and inspired.

Imagine waking up and heading out the door for your first guided run with a group of women, exploring nature and then heading back to your accommodation for a delicious, nourishing breakfast and freshly brewed coffee.

As the weekend continues, you will enjoy some restorative activities such as yoga or Pilates to support your running recovery. Enjoy fresh, wholesome plant focused foods throughout the weekend as well as mouth-watering platters in the afternoon paired with some of our favourite wines.

If you are attending one of our coastal retreats, feel free to jump in the ocean for a quick swim to leave you feeling invigorated. There is plenty of down time included in the weekend to explore the area and reflect on sessions.

  • 3 days and 2 nights  luxury accommodation with the option of twin share or private room
  • Guided inclusive running/walking sessions

What’s a typical weekend look like?

The weekend begins in the afternoon on Friday where we will meet, quickly get settled into our rooms and head out for a shakeout run. We then come back for some delicious food and set intentions for the weekend. On Saturday, we will again head out for a group run before coming back to have breakfast and get ready for the days activities.

 

The weekend is carefully curated with a perfect mix of activities and downtime. On Sunday, (you guessed it!) we head out for our final group run before coming back to our accommodation to have breakfast and close out the weekend with one final activity before you head home feeling refreshed, relaxed and inspired!

What do I need to bring?

Once you register for the retreat, I will send out a detailed information pack which outlines what to bring. But in essence, pack for the weekends activities (comfortable running clothes, comfortable clothing for all other activities), water bottle, hat, sunscreen, running shoes, and any other essentials you can’t live without!

I’m not a runner, can I still come?

Of course! Our retreats are designed to be supportive of all women. Want to walk instead? Go for it! All sessions are optional. There’s no pressure to run but you will be surprised at how much more you are capable of when you’re part of a supportive group!

Do you cater for different dietary requirements?

Yes! All the food on retreat is vegan (except the cheese platters). If you have any other dietary requirements please let us know in the section included on the registration form. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us as we would need to ensure we can manage any potential cross contamination.

Can I come alone?

Yes! Of course! Many of the retreat guests come alone and make lifelong friends throughout the weekend.

Do I need to share a room?

There are both twin-share and private room options available. These are on a first come, first serve basis.

Is travel included?

No, travel is not included in the retreat costs. All guests must make their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat. However, everything else for the weekend is included!
